We start by traveling into the forest and selecting only the finest logs available, taking into account, size, straightness, taper and grain. We individually select each piece to be placed in the perfect position in your home. We then hand scribe, cut and chisel each piece to fit as though it was not an individual log, yet one that joins the others with seamless perfection.

We utilize the Swedish cope shallow lateral groove and shrink to fit saddle notch joinery at the corners. Also, employing the “over scribe” method ensures tight fitting logs for years to come. Log building is an art, and our highly skilled crew combines this art with modern tools, equipment and building methods to guarantee complete accuracy and precision in every aspect of you home.
